ColetivA ocupação was created in 2017 by performers and artists who met during the uprising of the high schoolers’ movement and the occupation of public schools in São Paulo, in 2015–2016. ColetivA ocupação was born from the encounter of rebellion and theater, education and creation, as a territory to investigate different languages and narratives stemming from the uprisings and the pressing battles of our time: bodies in revolt, which now occupy new spaces and narratives.
