Lives and works in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil

He is a member of Coletivo de Arte Negra e Indígena – Carni. After dedicating years to the experimentation of the body through dance, performance, video, and installation, he has delved more deeply into the densities and visible and invisible substances that compose relationships in space.

Using synthetic and organic materials, and stemming from the perspective of a racialized body, he searches for hybrid practices to compose processes of creation, and, as such, to make images of
sculptures, screens, prints, video installations, performances, and texts. He has worked on questioning the sovereignty of the white Western human over other materialities/bodies, observing and bringing to focus the performativities of the latter, which are often not seen as life.
