Mario Lopes is an Afro-trans-tropical presence, a choreographer who organizes plattformPLUS, since 2008, a platform that collectively articulates projects to promote artistic encounters and itinerant residencies, such as veiculoSUR. In 2004, Lopes founded a nonprofit with the goal of humanizing health care and education spaces through art. Since 2009, he works as a cultural organizer focused on the promotion and circulation of works and projects that seek social transformations.
