Rommulo Conceição uses several mediums, such as installation, objects, sculpture, drawing, and photography, exploring the subtleties of the perception of space in contemporaneity and the relationships of the modern man with today’s world.

Since 1998, he has been carrying out solo and collective exhibitions and artist residencies in Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Japan, and Finland. He has won awards including Rumos Itaú Cultural (2006), 1 st Prêmio Funarte de Produção em Artes (2008/2009), Prêmio Funarte de Arte
Contemporânea 2012 – Galerias de São Paulo (2012), and Prêmio Aquisição Marcantonio Vilaça – Funarte (2012). He was nominated twice for the Prêmio Açorianos de Artes Plásticas (2010, 2012) and three times for the Pipa Prize (2010, 2011, 2018). His work is featured in several public collections, including Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Museu de Arte Contemporânea de São Paulo/USP, Museu Afro Brasil, Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Rio Grande do Sul, and Museu de Arte do Rio Grande do Sul.
